My partner was telling me since we’ve been together (I am Ashkenazi and mizrahi) he can tell when someone is ethnically jewish now. He’s been getting really into Anthony bourdain (who is very obviously Ashkenazi) and we were talking about how there’s just so many characteristics most people wouldn’t really pick up on.
