Why does the Torah contain accounts of Moses?

Shalom! I’m not a jew but ive been thinking about this and cant really find an answer from a jewish perspective. if God gave Moses the Torah and dictated every word to him, why does the Torah included narratives of Moses’ life? What would be the point of God making Moses write what was already happening in real time? It’d make sense narratives of the past, the laws, and speeches of Moses would be given but i just don’t get why God is telling Moses about his own life
