People swing a chicken around and kill it sometimes in NYC. I know it makes some people very upset but I don’t know the significance. Is the chicken eaten after it’s killed or is it used for a ritual of some kind?
Because if you’re eating the chicken, then it doesn’t really seem like a big deal if you swing it around for a second first but if the meat is going to waste on some hocus pocus then that doesn’t seem cool.
Just my two cents as an outsider who has no idea why you would swing a chicken around.
