What’s you favourite tefillah to say and why? Whether it’s a personal prayer or one from the siddur what is it that appeals to you?
My favourite from the siddur is אלוקי נצור at the end of the amidah (the paragraph with עושה שלום). I love the focus it brings to my teffilah and really makes me thing about purpose. My favourite non-liturgic prayer is התיקוה – for me, it describes my desperate longing to return to Israel. Heck, it makes me cry.
