Uplifting Jewish creators

Shalom everybody!

Two weeks ago, I made a post talking about my experience of the immense difficulty of being a small Jewish YouTuber.

In that post I explained how, on my channel, a lot of what I focus on is stuff like explaining anti-Semitic dogwhistles and debunking Holocaust denial. And I talked about how difficult it is for small YouTubers to find an audience, and amazingly, around 200 new people subscribed to my channel that day – which really helps me out a lot.

I thought it could be a really great idea then, that we try and extend this positivity to all the small creators we have here on the subreddit. I had a thought that we could try to make a list of everyone who makes Jewish content here who wants more visibility and we all try to support everyone. So, I figured this could become a fortnightly thing – where I’ll spotlight all the very talented people we’ve got here, and people can check out their respective content.

I’ll post links to every page that got linked or referenced in that last thread, and, if you’d like to be included next time I do this in a fortnight – just add your page down below in the comments and introduce yourself!

As I already mentioned, this is my channel where I mostly talk about how to identify and refute anti-Semitic/alt-right types.

This is Torah Hebrew E-Vreet. They linked their page last thread, and their channel focused on Hebrew vocabulary and prayer.

Someone else also linked the Instagram account of researcher Shai Davidai. Who does a lot of good work educating people about Antisemitism.

If you are a Jewish creative, please tell us about your project and how we can support you so I can add you to the list here. If you’re feeling bashful about “self promotion”, you shouldn’t. We ought to support one another however we can – and, every new Jewish creator any of us learn about is a gift. If you have someone of yours to share, please, enrich us with your experience!
