Just flew from US->NZ a week ago, red eye, wore the tefilin the day of the flight, and again once I arrived but technically I lost a day which I couldn’t wear so seems okay to me (left on a Sunday, arrived Tuesday so no tefilin on Monday).
Going back in a few days, will be wearing the day I’m leaving, red eye again, but since I arrive in technically the same day (even though there’ll be a “nightfall” during my flight, do I must wear it again on the same day as a “replenishment” for my lost one or that would not be needed?
