Shiva and shaving

I’m past the 30 day mark of my girlfriend’s passing.

But I knew many people growing up who went a year.

I think I’ll be doing the same.

My mustache is getting in the way of drinking and eating and it’s practically in my mouth at this point.

Is trimming acceptable?
