I put on a Chanukah story/sing along video for my toddler a week or so ago and in telling the Chanukah story the narrator says, “Judah Maccabee came up with a plan that didn’t involve any weapons or violence.”
I get that it’s a children’s video, but why say that? It’s obviously false and then she didn’t even explain what his “plan” was so why not just say nothing rather than completely lie?
