Runner up post: I was just walking along the street

One more thing now that I’ve got some really nice responses. Here is the original post and my runner up question

some women who was walking behind me, maybe on drugs or something, I thought she was following me, but I’m not sure. Anyway If I heard correctly I think she was yelling something like “lizards! These lizards!” Or something like that. I might be completely wrong, but people have told me that I look very Jewish, and one person even said “your the most Jewish looking person I’ve seen”, so I don’t know what to think. I want to disregard this but there was a lot of antisemitism/jew-hatred at my high school last year, so it wouldn’t be surprising, even though this is a very liberal

Ok the runner up question is, while I will now buy some pepper spray or something to carry around, I was for a long time wanting to buy magan David, a Star of David necklace, to wear. Particularly at my antisemitic high school where there were four unpunished Nazi salutes in three separate instances in the cafeteria in only half the year.

Am I fucked if I do this? Is it something I should do? Another Jew at my high school does this but he’s VERY anti Israel type, participating in walkouts, wearing pins etc. is it safe or ok for me to wear the necklace at school and in public?
