Reading the Bible with Sefaria.

Christian here. I’m trying to understand the Jewish perspective of the Tanakh. I have the Sefaria app to use while reading, but the list of resources it has for each and every verse is so huge that I don’t know which ones to refer to. Are there any “go-to” resources you guys would recommend? Especially anyone who knows about the app.

There are commentaries listed, with “Rashi” seemingly being the most common. Under the commentaries are listings from the Talmud, Targum, Midrash, and other words that I’d probably mispronounce. I don’t know if these things would be useful for me to read, or I should just stick with the commentaries, and if there are commentaries best for people with little knowledge such as myself.

Please help or else I’m hopeless 😆
