Raising a proud Jewish child

I’m the parent of a toddler and I am in the Diaspora in Europe. I’m really struggling with how to raise my child as a proud and confident Jew. I do mean the religion (observance is obviously helpful to keeping a child’s engagement going) but I more particularly mean in their identity as a Jew of any sort, especially as they are likely to experience antisemitism in their life. I know that they may decide to be an atheist or whatever; that will hurt but I will respect it as their personal choice. More than anything, I want them to never to feel ashamed or internalise any of the hatred and lies they will encounter. I want them to hold their head up and say “I’m a Jew and I love my people; love us or hate us, I’m not going to hide”. How do I instil that pride and self-respect?
