Question regarding Lubavitcher communities

(context: I wasn’t born Jewish, but became so via the Reconstructionist movement, and am now transitioning to Orthodox Judaism)

Long story short, I met with my locak Va’ad and RCA rep and they advised me to begin attending a local Lubavitcher synagogue, which is extremely close to my future campus, to begin building a relationship with my prospective sponsoring rabbi. The other nearby rabbi received his semikhah from YCT and that poses an issue with head of the local beit din, so Chabad it is.

My question is: Is there anything about Lubavitcher communities I should know that I wouldn’t have been exposed to in my various Chabad House experiences? Everyone I’ve met has been very nice and I enjoy a lot of the work Chabad does. I don’t necessarily intend on becoming a Chabadnik after, as I’m interested in the Breslover community, but I’m curious nevertheless
