Process for Sephardic Right of Return for Spain and Portugal

I know the first steps is to be certified by the relevant Jewish communities. I’ve been certified by the communities in both Lisbon and Madrid.

I’m wondering if anyone has successfully made it through the whole process. How do the Spanish and Portuguese process vary in practice? Is the Portuguese process really that much easier? In particular, how long did it take? I’ve contacted a lawyer in Portugal and they said it takes 19 (!) Months from submission.
