A few years ago, my mom found this tefillin bag literally lying on the street in Buenos Aires. Since then, we’ve just kept it at home. Recently, I was trying to show a friend what tefillin are and searched for photos on Google. To my surprise, I found the exact same bag with the Star of David design on the website of a Reform synagogue in Toronto called First Narayever Congregation.

It felt like such an insane coincidence. I even messaged them on Facebook a few months ago but never got a reply. Does anyone know if this bag was mass-produced somewhere, maybe in Israel or elsewhere? Or could it actually be the very same bag that somehow made its way here?
