While we all know that in Judaism you are the religion of your mother, I was wondering if that changes if the mother is an Atheist? Is it possible in Jewish Law to be born an Atheist? If it is not the case, would your religion then be the religion of the Father, or does it go up the family tree to your maternal grandparent?
