Looking to connect with my Jewish Roots

I’m David, 22 years old from Barcelona. I’ve been on an interesting journey lately, diving into my family history and discovering my Jewish roots. My dad always mentioned that we have Jewish roots and the Jewish history in Catalonia is huge & our family had to change their names during the Spanish Inquisition, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot. I feel like there’s a part of me that’s missing, and I really want to explore that.

Since 2023, I’ve gotten super interested in Judaism. I’ve been reading up on traditions, values, and the community aspect of it all, and it just feels right to me . I love the stories of resilience and the deep connection to faith. Plus, the rituals like Shabbat are just beautiful!

Now, I’m seriously considering digging more into it. . I know it’s a big step, and I really want to do it right. I’d love to hear from anyone who has been through this process or has any tips to share. Your experiences would mean a ton to me!
