Literary exploration of ha-satan’s role in Iyov (Job) – feedback welcome

I’ve been studying the Book of Job and wrote a literary retelling from ha-satan’s perspective, trying to honor the Hebrew text’s portrayal of him as divine prosecutor rather than the later Christian devil figure.

The piece examines:

– Ha-satan as member of the divine council (bene elohim)

– His function as quality control/tester of righteousness

– The tragedy of Job’s children who die unnamed

– Job never learning the reason for his suffering

I’m coming at this as a writer interested in biblical narratives, and I want to be respectful of Jewish interpretation. I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on whether the piece accurately represents the text and ha-satan’s role as understood in Jewish tradition.

Thank you in advance for any insights.
