Like 90% of non-jews seem to think being jewish is merely a belief system. does this really annoy others or is it just me?

I guess i can’t blame them there are only 14-15M jews in the world, but this still irrationally makes me angry when people say stuff about judaism/being jewish “you can believe what you like”, “i don’t care what your belief system is”, and especially moreso these days in discussions about zionism “why should a religion create rights to land” etc. etc.

Idk just venting, this really grinds my gears sometimes.
