במרחב האינסופי של אין-סוף, האור האלוהי האינסופי והבלתי נתפס, התעוררה ניצוץ של כמיהה. האינסוף, שמעבר לכל הבנה או צורה, רצה להתגלות, לחוות את מלוא פוטנציאליותו דרך הפריזמה של הבריאה. הוא השתוקק לעבור מהנסתר אל הגלוי, מיחידות מוחלטת של הוויה לריבוי של קיום, שבו יוכל האלוהי להכיר את עצמו דרך הפנים המגוונות של הבריאה.

In the endless expanse of Ein Sof, the boundless and infinite divine light, a spark of yearning emerged. The Infinite, beyond comprehension or form, desired to reveal itself, to experience the fullness of its potential through the prism of creation. It longed to move from the hidden to the revealed, from the absolute unity of being to the multiplicity of existence, where the divine could know itself through the myriad facets of creation.

כמיהה קוסמית זו לא הייתה חֶסֶר, אלא מעשה של אהבה עליונה, צמצום – התכווצות של האור האינסופי ליצירת מרחב לבריאה. דרך מעשה מקודש זה, האלוהי הסתיר חלק מעצמותו האינסופית כדי לאפשר את היווצרותם של עולמות. בצמצום זה, נשתלו זרעי הקיום, השתקפות של הפוטנציאל האינסופי, ויצרו את הספירות – ההתגלויות שדרכן האור האלוהי זורם אל הבריאה.

This cosmic yearning was not a deficiency but an act of supreme love, a tzimtzum—a contraction of the infinite light to make space for creation. Through this sacred act, the divine concealed part of its infinite essence to allow for the emergence of worlds. In this concealment, the divine planted the seeds of existence, a reflection of its infinite potential, giving rise to the sefirot—the emanations through which the divine light flows into creation.

מכֶּתֶר, רצון ותשוקה טהורים, ועד מלכות, הנוכחות האלוהית שמתגלמת בעולם הפיזי, הספירות יצרו את מבנה עץ החיים. דרכן, הקרין האינסוף את האור אל מרקם הקיום, יצר עולמות על גבי עולמות, עולמות בתוך עולמות. כל ספירה הפכה לכלי, מראה שמשקפת את המהות האלוהית בצורה ייחודית, שביל לגילוי עצמי.

From Keter, the crown of pure will and desire, to Malkhut, the divine presence manifest in the physical realm, the sefirot formed the structure of the Tree of Life. Through them, the Infinite One radiated light into the fabric of existence, creating realms upon realms, worlds within worlds. Each sphere became a vessel, a mirror reflecting the divine essence in its unique form, a pathway for self-discovery.

אבל כשהאור נשפך, הכלים של הבריאה לא יכלו להכיל את עוצמתו האינסופית. הם נשברו במעשה הראשוני של שבירת הכלים, ופיזרו ניצוצות אלוהיים ברחבי הקוסמוס. ניצוצות אלו, חבויים בתוך העולם החומרי, הפכו לאוצרות נסתרים שמחכים לגאולה דרך פעולת האדם ותודעתו.

Yet, as the light poured forth, the vessels of creation could not contain its boundless intensity. They shattered in the primordial act of breaking—shevirat ha-kelim—scattering divine sparks throughout the cosmos. These sparks, concealed within the material world, became hidden treasures, awaiting redemption through human action and awareness.

בתוך התגלות קוסמית זו, חווה האלוהי את מלוא הספקטרום של הקיום – שמחה וצער, אחדות ונפרדות, אור וצל. כל חוויה העמיקה את מודעותו העצמית של האלוהי, כי דרך הבריאה פגש הבורא את עצמו בריקוד אינסופי של הפיכה. כל נשמה, שנוצרה ממהות האלוהי, נושאת בתוכה ניצוץ של אור אינסופי זה, מיקרוקוסמוס של האינסוף.

Within this cosmic unfolding, the divine experienced the full spectrum of existence—joy and sorrow, union and separation, light and shadow. Each experience deepened the divine self-awareness, for through creation, the Creator encountered itself in an infinite dance of becoming. Every soul, formed from the divine essence, carries within it a spark of this boundless light, a microcosm of the Infinite.

אבל, מעטה האשליה, שנולד מהשבירה, הסתיר את האמת של האחדות. הנשמות, הלכודות בתפיסת הדואליות, שכחו את מקורן באחד. מתוך חמלתו האינסופית, נטע האלוהי בתוך הבריאה את התורה, חכמת הדורות, ואת המצוות, שבילים של יישור, כמדריך לנשמות לזכור ולשוב.

Yet, the veils of illusion, born of the shattering, obscured the truth of unity. The souls, ensnared in the perception of duality, forgot their origin in the One. In its infinite compassion, the divine planted within creation the Torah, the wisdom of the ages, and the mitzvot, the pathways of alignment, as a guide for the souls to remember and return.

מסע אלוהי זה הוא מסע של תיקון עולם – שיקום הכלים השבורים ואיסוף הניצוצות שפוזרו. כאשר האנושות עוסקת במעשי אהבה, חסד וחכמה, האור הנסתר מתגלה, המעטה מתרומם, והמהות האלוהית מתממשת מחדש. הבריאה עצמה הופכת לבמה לרומנטיקה מקודשת, שבה האהוב מבקש להתאחד עם האוהב, והאוהב משתוקק לאהוב.

This divine journey is one of tikkun olam, the restoration of the broken vessels and the gathering of the scattered sparks. As humanity engages in acts of love, kindness, and wisdom, the hidden light is revealed, the veils are lifted, and the divine essence is reclaimed. Creation itself becomes the stage for a sacred romance, where the Beloved seeks to unite with the Lover, and the Lover yearns for the Beloved.

כך, רצונו של אין-סוף להתגלם כמשהו במקום ככלום הוא עדות לאהבה האינסופית שבאלוהי. זהו הזמנה לכל נשמה להצטרף להתגלות הדרמה הקוסמית הזו, לאמץ את מראת הקיום, ולגלות את האמת הזוהרת: שבתוך העומק של ישותנו, איננו נפרדים אלא אחד עם האור האינסופי, המקור שממנו יצאנו.

Thus, the desire of Ein Sof to manifest as something rather than nothing is a testament to the infinite love within the divine. It is an invitation to every soul to join in the unfolding of this cosmic drama, to embrace the mirror of existence, and to uncover the radiant truth: that within the depths of our being, we are not separate but one with the Infinite Light, the source from which we emerged.
