How would Jews react to a convert to Judaism

I’ve recently realized that I don’t spend a lot of time reading about Israel and anti-zionists/semites just because I want to learn to better try to change the minds of anti-Israel people, but because I have a lot of respect and admiration for the Jewish people.

I realized this watching a video of this guy who went up to Israelis asking them if their life would be easier if they were Ashkenazi Jews, and I don’t think a single one of them said it would be, which made me realize that even if they are some initial issues with new groups arriving in Israel, it all seems to fade away because being Jewish, and living in Israel is more important to them than their respective ethnic backgrounds.

which made me think about converting to Judaism, but I’m not sure how converts are viewed by people born Jewish, how would/do you react to people who converted, and how do you think other Jewish people might react.
