I’ve grown up secular but have always had an attraction towards Judaism. I’ve done studying for a few weeks than a few months of “taking a break” to see if my interest for it it true, and I keep coming back to it. It’s a year now since I first came across Judaism and I’m finally ready to start diving deep into it.
I believe that there is g-d, and feel a connection with them, but I’m having trouble with the stories of the Torah. My question for you is how do you percieve those stories? Are they metaphors or literal situations? Are the ages real or exaggerations?
Sorry if this is all over the place. Learning the traditions and beliefs of Judaism has been hard for me, as I don’t really know a good place to start.
