how accurate is the show shtisel to haredi Jews in Israel?

i started watching shtisel on netflix as it was recommended to me and i quite like it. i think jewish culture and history is actually quite interesting and i think the show gave me an insight into the orthodox jewish society. however is the show actually realistic about their community in isreal?. also how do orthodox jewish afford to have large families with only a single breadwinner often?, i come from ireland and we have relatively large families here, but its often either a two breadwinner family or a family that is support by a well off breadwinner. another thing is that do they often have money exchange businesses in their homes like in the show?, is there that much of a demand of currency exchange underground?.
