I feel so happy. I went to a Conservative, but progressive B’nai Israel congregation last night and it was awesome!! The cantor was this beautiful lady and the environment was so welcoming and inviting! We had a potluck style and the kids were just laughing and playing around the community center while we were praying. I felt very welcomed in the community there. What an inclusive community! I just feel relieved and it was a nice reminder of a safe community last night. I felt like I could be myself.
