This is so I understand more than anything.
I was married for several years. I covered my hair during those years. I was not married in a Jewish ceremony because I converted afterwards (he is nonpracticing). After converting, I started wrapping my hair.
However, my ex and I are getting an annulment due to the circumstances surrounding our original union. According to civil law, we were never married.
So… do I still have to cover even after? I know you’re supposed to keep covering after a death of a spouse and (I think) divorce, but what about an annulment?
