Hello. I was wondering what, if anything, Jewish law might say about traveling in a horse drawn carriage on shabbat. We are going on vacation and our tour guide suggested a pre-paid ride this thinking it would be shabbat friendly but I’m not so sure. Unless this were seen as a form of “carrying” within an eruv, I can’t see that it would be allowable. Online searches have been fruitless so far.
Any ideas? Thanks!
