Hi guys!
I’m wondering the protocol and maybe some suggestions for a gift for my sponsoring Rabbi.
I am officially converting Conservative next week (eeek) after almost ten years of being involved with Jewish life (since I was 18!) and the rabbi I’ve studied with for the past year has been wonderful and supportive the entire way. I want to give him a gift or some sort of token of my appreciation upon completing my conversion. He is around 35 with a wife and two very young children so something for the family would be great. Otherwise I was thinking maybe donation to some cause in their name? Idk I’m really not sure what would be nice and appropriate for the occasion!
Any ideas greatly appreciated!
