I have a classmate who is about 7 months pregnant with her 4th child. She carries a lot of stuff to school, 2 full totes on each shoulder and her lunch bag. She declines when I offer her a hand and never asks for help, always smiles and says she is fine. But I can see her literally wobbling to her car 😭. When she grabs for the door handle, all the totes slip off her shoulders and they just drop on her arms.
She mentioned before, regarding a baby shower, that she doesn’t celebrate the baby before he/she is born, and doesn’t do gifts. Does this only pertain to gifts for the baby? I really want to get her something like a rolling backpack. Would that be okay if it is a gift for her? Would that cause any offense?
