How is this done? I am a reform Jew, my husband grew up Orthodox, and we do not belong to any synagogue at the moment. We are expecting a baby girl in August and would like a baby naming ceremony- could we just call around local synagogues asking the rabbi for their service? We would like to do it at home with family.
