Ethical Death—pt. 2

Hi everyone,

Thank you all dearly for your responses to my previous post from yesterday about my family member who is dying. Your concern meant a great deal to me. We spoke with our rabbi and doctors, and we are going to extubate him tomorrow, all with his blessing, of course. It will be ethical, he won’t feel any pain. I’m an ashkenaz conservative; are there any brachas or prayers I should say so that he may die painlessly and go to the best place once he does?

I understand that this is something I should speak to a rabbi about, but I just want to make sure I’m covering all my bases, so I’m asking you all. Thank you so very much.
