I was watching Stump the Rabbi on a question on why Hashem doesn’t answer a prayer youtube . One thing in particular I found very interesting is at one point the Rabbi makes a claim that we may not get something we want because we haven’t prayed. He says that God wants us to pray. The only time there is “want” is when something is lacking and when someone stands to gain something. Does that mean that God stands to gain something from our prayers?
Does God gain from prayer?
