Creative Suggestions for Succot

We are-

  • Modern orthodox from NY
  • Planning to move in the next 6 months (later than expected and so gave away our succah)
  • Newly empty nester (as of yesterday)

We are looking for something interesting to do for Succot that includes meals in a succah. My husband has never has to sit alone in shul and so is going through withdrawal. He doesnt layn or daven for the amud, but is happy to help make a minyan. All programs seem to be in foreign countries and that is not in this year’s budget.

Does anyone know of a hotel, conference center or community program? Preferably within driving distance, but we both have very flexible schedules and happy to drive pretty far.

Thank you and Shannah Tova!
