I’m six and a half months into my conversion to Conservative Judaism. The process is a real life changer for me and with the help of my rabbi (along with my Conservative Jewish wife) and I’m getting in touch with Judaism. However, lately I am considering to convert to Orthodox Judaism specifically so I can be recognize as a Jew from the other branches of Judaism. Is it possible to shift my ongoing Jewish conversion to a Orthodox rabbi and start my Orthodox conversion or should first complete my Conservative conversion and than start the process to convert to Orthodox Judaism?
