Christian and Jew?

I have a friend who is interested in becoming Jewish but also wants to remain a Christian? Is this possible?

I know that the apostles were both Christian and Jewish and that wasn’t a problem until they were thrown out of the synagogues for preaching.

So I guess I’m wondering if she could be culturally Jewish, be apart of the community, but still practice her Christian faith?
