Child of a non-jewish mother and jewish father wanting to convert.

Hello,

My mother is a Jamaican woman and my father is a Jewish man. I was raised Jewish. However I would like to complete my Jewish identity with a conversion since my mother never converted. I feel a very close connection with my Jewish side and I had a very special relationship with my Jewish grandparents. However, I would like to ask some questions.

1) Could I still marry a Jewish guy after conversion? (would this be an issue?)

2) Will other Jews treat me differently?

3) How do you view converts?
