Boyfriend doesn’t know I’m ethnically Jewish and keeps making antisemitic comments. I don’t know if he’s serious or joking.

Throwaway for obvious reasons. I don’t even know if this is the right place to write about this. I’ve been dating this guy for like 7 months. And honestly he’s great, like I’m really really falling for him, but sometimes he says really antisemitic things. I’m not sure how to explain it, but the reason I’m even writing this is, I really want him to meet my parents but I’m at the point where I’m scared he’s actually going to be mad at me for my dad being Jewish. I know people are going to tell me that if he really feels that strongly that it’s how problem, and I think that’s right but I don’t know why I’m upset about something that is a part of me that I can’t control and shouldn’t even matter. And like my dad parents were mad he married someone who wasn’t Jewish and it’s fun this stuff even matters…
