For those who have not read it, this book by Kristin Hannah is incredibly illuminating. I’ve seen many shows and movies and documentaries about WW2/the Nazi takeover/the Holocaust but this book really hit home and allowed that dark time in history to sink in for me in a way it hasn’t before. Excellent (and completely heartbreaking) read.
