I’ve come into contact with the Hebrew Israelite Movement lately as a black woman and this just does not sit right with me. What are your views on traditional Hebrew Israelite views and those who claim african americans are the true Israelites? I personally find so many holes in claim as as many proofs i see used to validate this claim have already been fulfilled in Jewish history before the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. How should I approach someone with these views and what are your thoughts on this? What are the origins of this movement and have you had any encounters with those who believe in this?
