Is there anybody in here who lives in Barcelona or knows about the Jewish community there? I’ll be heading to Barcelona with my girlfriend this Friday just before Shabbos and staying there until Saturday evening before heading elsewhere in Spain.
Is the ancient synagogue open over Shabbat? Are there any kosher restaurants about and if so, how early before Shabbat do they close?
I’m desperate to show my girlfriend the ancient synagogue as I visit it every time i’m in Barcelona, but I know they operate it more like a museum which is why I think it may close over Shabbos.
