I don’t know if this is the right sub for this, but I feel like I’d have a tough time getting an answer for this on Google
So basically, I had a dream that we were having a luncheon at shul. I was sitting at a table with my host family like I usually do at luncheons and we started joking around. There was a pitcher of water in front of me, and for whatever reason I thought it would be funny to dump the pitcher all over the floor. When I did, to my horror I discovered my rabbi was standing right behind me.
He walked away in disgust and I tried following him around to apologize, but he kept pushing me away. After doing this for a few minutes, he eventually got so fed up that he kicked me out indefinitely.
That was the end. You see, when I experienced this I didn’t know this was a dream of course, so I woke up in a puddle of sweat and out of breath. I think it might stem from a fear of disappointing my rabbi, but I can’t tell.
Edit: my rabbi is not like this. Of course if this happened he would he upset, but I’m just trying to figure out why I might have had this dream
