Adolescent daughter doesn’t like learning

hi everyone.

My 12 year old daughter used to be in a religious (orthodox) school with a high level of learning. We can’t afford it anymore, pulled her out and are now trying to supplement with private lessons. She likes her tutor personally, but just doesn’t enjoy the lessons.

i don’t want her to hate learning every week. but i don’t want to dumb it down, or stop the private lessons.

i’m looking into semi-private with a friend so that may help, but the group lessons available seem to be more for high schoolers. i’ve been told that high schoolers will stop coming if middle schoolers infiltrate their space.

any suggestions on how to help change her outlook?
