I learned today that G-d appeared to Abraham before Moses. And Abraham built an altar (Genesis 12:7) Could someone provide more insight on this? Like, it says in Exodus, Moses spoke to him as a friend but didn’t really see him. So I assume this altar must be of great significance.
Edit: it would be great if someone could point me to a Rabbi or so discussing this topic. Thanks.
