Would you attend a wreath making work event?

A manager invited me to attend a wreath making workshop at work and I’d like other people’s opinions on what they’d do in this situation.

The manager is not currently directly above me, but I’m planning to transfer into a new position where I’d be her direct report. I agreed to go to the wreath making, because it feels like important networking and relationship building, but I’m not comfortable with Christian iconography in my home. I was originally thinking I could just decorate the wreath in a winter-y style, which I may still do, and then giving it to my neighbors to use. I’m not sure! I admittedly agreed to go before I realized how Christian the concept of a wreath is.

I was discussing this with another Jew and it ended up being a fairly lively debate. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts.
