Why is there so much antisemitism in the world if Jewish people are only a tiny fraction of the world’s population?

So, forgive if I’m sounding naïve or ignorant. I don’t mean to be. I simply want to learn.

Nothing boils my blood quite like antisemitism and hearing people make antisemitic comments.

How on earth can Jewish people be blamed for all the world’s problems when there are just so few of us. We’re not the ones calling the shots. We are .2% of the ENTIRE population of planet earth. It makes no sense. Where is this nonsense coming from?

Again, please forgive me if my question is ignorant and naïve. It’s just something I think about a lot and wanted to hear people’s perspectives on it. I’m just trying learn.

My last name is, idk, I guess you could say Jewish. Although I don’t think names alone signify a person’s religion. But it’s a name that is heavily associated with Jewish people. If I have my last name displayed on social media such as Facebook or YouTube, cue the antisemitic comments as a response to any post or comment I make. It’s infuriating.

I just want to understand what motivates this hate. I don’t understand
