Why is Judaism more casual than Christianity or Islam?

Shabbat shalom y’all! So I have friends from Muslim & Christian religious upbringings who have come to or at least been in proximity various Jewish things such as Shabbat dinners or fun holiday stuff like Purim. One comment I’ve gotten from both Christians & Muslims is that Judaism seems to feel less severe & more joyous. They’ve also made comments that ways of dressing or engaging in religious spaces seems to be much less “button up” & serious than in Muslim or Christian spaces. I go to shul on Saturday in jeans & a hoodie sometimes for example, & my partner (who was raised catholic) said they would’ve never been allowed to go to church without dressing up. My partner also commented on how relationships between congregants & rabbis is more just like interacting with anyone else rather than having a particular hierarchy. Has anyone else heard similar things or observed them? Why is it that Judaism seems to have (or is at least perceived by people I’ve met from different backgrounds) more casual & less “institutional” attitudes about these aspects than other abrahamic religions?
