I was listening to some rabbis today, and they were talking about the red heifer and the attempts to breed it… My question is why do you guys not do anything instead of doing as much as you can? Why not bleach a cow and dye it red when you have the technology for it? How is not doing anything for G-d better in his eyes than doing the best you can for him? If the science is there for breeding and that’s OK despite tainted lineage, why is the science for changing the color of the hair into the proper color not OK? Sorry if my question comes off as rude, I just don’t understand.
