I have a friend who was recently in an accident. I was wondering if I could halachically recite Mi Shebeirach for them (or more accurately, sing the Debbie Friedman rework of it) or if it would be better to just include a personal prayer for them when I daven?
I am Reform (and still on the path) but I would like to follow the halachic take on this.
