What does G-d control?

I’m wondering what does G-d control or do. For a brief background I came across a video from Sam Aronow about the relationship between Judaism and Islam. The idea of Emuna and Iman is belief so to speak.. only. It gave the idea (personally for me) of a G-d who I have no clear Idea on the degree towards he inspires and influences my life’s direction.

And so.. how much or what does G-d control in someone’s civil life/ordinary daily life. And how different is it from Christianity where a lot of things are some sign from G-d in almost every area of life from civil to spiritual to bodily.. etc.
