what do my fellow jewlets think about semitic paganism?

Semitic paganism is a phenomenon I have only come across here on reddit.

There is a subreddit dedicated to it. From what I can gather, the practitioners seem to be a mixture of American former christians, pagans who connect to the ‘semitic’ pantheon, levantine people like Syrians and Lebanese who I guess reject islam in favour of worshipping their ancestral gods, and some jews (im guessing American jews).

they basically worship Baal, Asherah and even YHVH (but as a storm god), they make imagery of these gods etc. Im not sure where they get all their info but to be honest I find it quite interesting.

what do you all think about it?
