Hello, a close family friend recently lost their home to a forest fire. He had a large library and an especially large jewish text library. I want to gift him a few books to help rebuild what was lost. Any recommendations? The only must have is Pirkei Avot – what other books would you recommend?
edit: should have included, they are a conservative jew and an english speaker who can read hebrew
