What am I considered?

Hi, I’m sure I’m not 100% unique in my situation, but I’m just wondering from other people’s point of view what I’m considered. So, I was adopted as a baby by a Catholic family but my birth parents are Jewish. I’ve always known I was Jewish and much to the dismay of my Catholic school I told everyone. That being said, I was baptized once I was adopted (since infant baptism is what Catholics believe) as well as put through first communion and confirmation. Does that mean I’m not Jewish? I don’t practice Catholicism anymore for a multitude of reasons and would love to learn more about Judaism, but I know it would kill my adopted mom if I did… Any advice for that as well?
